Pottsville, PA Trinity Episcopal Church (Antiphonal) – Pottsville, Pennsylvania
This 1926 3-manual Austin organ has received an 11-rank electric action Antiphonal addition which is playable from the Choir Manual. The 8-stop enclosed division is offset by an unenclosed high pressure TUBA HEROIQUE on 10″ wind pressure. We used the original gallery case of the previous instrument, which is believed to have been built by J.C.B. Standbridge of Philadelphia in the 1860s. The restoration of this casework offers a vibrant color scheme to complement the sonic tonal additions, contributing to new excitement within this venerable structure.
